Sarah Ebner

Sarah is a Kennewick, Washington based visual artist who works primarily with printmaking and watercolor but experiments with whatever she can get her hands on. She enjoys working with patterns and creating pieces that are playful and warm; using bold colors and embracing the creativity, personality, and “blemishes” that come along with the artist’s hand.

Sarah grew up in a creative home where museum visits and art conversations were a regular part of life. She attended Walla Walla University where she received a double major in Art and Industrial Design. Soon after, she moved to Southern California with her husband, teaching art to students ranging from elementary to high school. While teaching she explored more into what art means to a person individually and strived to help her students see art as something that is both attainable and enjoyable - no matter the media, materials available, time, space, or skill level. This experience impacted her perspective on the role of art and what it means to be a home artist.
